Jesus is concerned with the glory of His Father as He went to the cross. He gives His life to demonstrate the glory of God's grace.
Moses' exhortation concludes with the offer of the blessing for obedience and the curse for disobedience. Even though Israel would choose the pathway of disobedience, the LORD, the Rock, promises a future restoration and change of heart.
In Deut. 12-26, Moses expounds the law highlighting the coming of the Messiah (the prophet) and the presence of God in the place of His choosing (the place).
Moses exhorts the second generation of Israel about to enter Canaan to remember and obey the LORD.
God's blessing to Israel is irrevocable. What God has promised, He will most assuredly fulfill.
God preserved the population of Israel and placed them in Canaan. He did this to send the Savior from that particular people of promise and that particular land of promise.
