As a man who understands authority, a Roman centurion believes that Jesus can heal his paralyzed servant just by saying the word. Jesus marvels at this Gentile's faith and asserts that foreigners will enter the kingdom of heaven while Jews will be cast out. He then heals the servant just as the centurion believed. Jesus is King of all nations. He saves whoever believes in Him.
