After the rich young ruler, the disciples (especially Peter) wondered how could anyone be saved. Jesus’ disciples had left everything to follow and obey Jesus. Jesus answered that all disciples (not just his, but all who believe/obey/follow Jesus) will have eternal life and be with Jesus forever. Jesus continued to explain through the parable of the vineyard workers that God generously gives eternal life to everyone who believes/obeys/follows him.
