The Passover (Exodus 11:1–13:16)

The LORD said that he would send one more plague, and then Pharaoh would let the Israelites go: all the firstborn Egyptians would die. The LORD commanded the Israelites to observe Passover, which included the taking a lamb, killing it, eating it, and taking the blood to mark as a sign on the doorframes of their homes. That night all the firstborn Egyptians were killed, while the Israel homes were passed over. Pharaoh told the Israelites to go, and they did so, quickly.
