Aaron and his sons become priests through a ceremony that God commanded. Then Aaron served the people by giving offerings to God for them, but not before giving offerings for himself first. After the offerings were given, God’s glory appeared and fire from God consumed the offerings. But, there were two priests who did not treat God as holy and offered strange fire. God judged them by consuming them with fire.
