Jesus has been crucified and Joseph, a disciple asks for Jesus’ body to bury Him in a tomb. Some women followed Joseph so that they would know where Jesus is, to come back after the Sabbath, which was about to begin. Remember, no one was supposed to work on the Sabbath. But, when they came back, they did not find the body -- Jesus was alive! Jesus then appeared to many others, speaking and eating with them, just like any other person you can touch and see. Afterwards He went to be in heaven with a promise that He will be back; He is alive, never to die. We have many witnesses that tell us everything Jesus said was true and we have the promise of the forgiveness of sins for anyone that would repent and believe in Jesus!
