God uses Daniel to interpret the king's dream (Daniel 2:1-49)

The King of Babylon receives a dream from God that causes him to lose sleep. He commands his servants to explain the dream without revealing the contents - a challenging mystery. At the threat of their lives, Daniel and his friends prayed to God, and He answered. Daniel thanks God and quickly brings the king the exact details of the dream and the interpretation as well. The statue seen in King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream describes several kingdoms of the earth that will follow Babylon, but all will ultimately ended by God’s eternal kingdom that endures forever. And so, God’s message through the dream is made clear - God rules over all!
