After the rich young ruler turned away from Jesus, Jesus’ disciples wondered what they would get since they did leave everything to follow and obey Jesus. Jesus answered that all disciples (not just the twelve) but all who believe/obey/follow Him will receive much more than what they left and also have eternal life. Jesus continues to explain through the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard that God gives not only fairly but graciously out of His overflowing generosity.
