God’s plan here was for Jesus to be crucified and die for our sins. Many things happened during the course of these few days: Mary anointing Jesus with perfume, the Last Passover meal with Jesus’ disciples, communion, Jesus praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, Judas’ betrayal, Jesus’ arrested and being taken away. But through it all, we see that Jesus knows God’s plan and obeys God, not matter how hard it may be (even to the point of death).
