God saved His people from slavery in Egypt and brought them to worship at Mt. Sinai as He said in Exodus chapter 3 verse 12 “…when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall worship God at this mountain”. His plan doesn’t end there though, God tells the Israelites of the blessings they would have if they obey God and keep his covenant, or agreement. The people say that they will obey God! God then tells Moses that He will come and speak to Moses in front of the people but they must be ready and follow all of His commands.
