While walking to Caesarea Philippi with His disciples, Jesus explained to them what discipleship is. A disciple of Jesus is someone who follows Jesus and his path! Jesus goes on to explain that it’s not easy to follow Him. In fact, you will have to deny yourself (i.e. say no to yourself), endure extreme humiliation and sacrifice possibly even onto death in order to follow him. But if you truly believe in Jesus, you will be glad to follow him even when it’s hard, and you will be welcomed and accepted by the King when He comes back to rule in the next world.
