The Church is Persecuted and the Gospel Spreads (Acts 8:1-25)

On the day that Stephen died, a great persecution toward all Christians began. Christians who were in danger scattered but preached the Word. When Philip brought the gospel to Samaria, the people paid attention to his words. They used to give their attention to a magician named Simon, but now turned to God. The Apostles then came to pray for the new believers. When Simon saw the miracles which were happening, he offered to buy gifting from God. Peter exposes Simon’s sin and calls him to repent. Simon showed himself an unbeliever. Many more Samaritans heard the Gospel.
