An angel tells Philip to go to a desert road. Philip goes and meets an Ethiopian official heading home from worshiping in Jerusalem who happened to be reading the prophet Isaiah. God told Philip to join the man. When Philip goes up to his chariot, the man invites him to explain to him what he is reading. Philip preaches Jesus to the man starting from what he was reading. The man wanted to follow Jesus immediately and rejoiced in God even when God took Philip away.
