God Floods the Earth (Genesis 6:5-7:24)

The earth is filled with violence. Everybody in the world is thinking and doing evil things all the time except for a man named Noah. God warns Noah that He will flood the earth to blot out mankind and every animal on the land and in the sky. He tells Noah to build an ark that will keep Noah, his family, and all kinds of animals safe during the flood. Noah listens to God and obeys Him, building and entering the ark. Then, just as He had said, God floods the earth. The water level rises above the tallest mountains, blotting out all mankind except for Noah and his family. God punishes sin, but He blesses those who trust and obey Him.
