Jesus died for sinners to fulfill God’s plan (John 19:1-42)

Jesus endured through a lot on His road to crucifixion. Soldiers physically and verbally hurt Jesus by placing a crown of thorns on His head, putting a purple robe on Him, mocking Him as the King of the Jews, and punching Him. Pilate decided to crucify Jesus even though he didn’t find anything wrong with Jesus because Pilate selfishly cared more about himself and listened to the Jews and Priests who wanted Jesus dead. Jesus endured through all of this - through the sins of these men, as well as the sins of everyone else in the world. Jesus submitted and obeyed God and took the full wrath of God for our sins on the cross to complete His mission.
