Jesus resurrected to fulfill God’s plan (John 20:1-30)

After Jesus took all the physical, verbal, and emotional pain from His crucification on the cross, His body was taken and buried in a tomb. Everyone was sad and probably thought that was it. None of them would have imagined the tomb being opened and Jesus’ body to be gone. Mary Magdalene didn’t. Neither did John or Peter. But when they went to the tomb themselves to see, they saw that it was true - that Jesus body was gone. And none of them stopped to think that Jesus resurrected. All of them thought someone just took Jesus’ body away. But then something happened…. Jesus resurrected, was alive again, and appeared to them all! Unfortunately, Thomas wasn’t there and didn’t see Jesus again yet. And he directly said that he wouldn’t believe if He saw Jesus. So, Jesus shows Himself to Thomas and teaches them all a lesson - Blessed are those who do not see Jesus and still believe because seeing Jesus and then believing doesn’t take as much faith as NOT seeing Jesus and believing.
