An angel told Philip to go to a desert road. Philip went and met an Ethiopian official going home from worshiping in Jerusalem who happened to be reading the prophet Isaiah. God told Philip to join the man and when he did, the man invited him to explain to him what he is reading. Philip preached Jesus to the man starting from what he was reading. The man wanted to follow Jesus immediately and rejoiced in God.
