The risen Jesus proves He’s alive by showing Himself to the apostles, building their confidence in Him. He teaches them about the kingdom, and they wonder if it is time for King Jesus to restore the kingdom to Israel. Jesus responds by saying, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority; but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” Jesus wants everybody to know about Him. After spending 40 days with the apostles, He ascends into heaven, and two angels tell the men that Jesus will one day return.
