God Judges the Nations at Babel (Genesis 11:1-9)

Instead of spreading out across the world as God had told Noah and his family when they first left the ark, mankind decides to stay in one place. They are gathered together, speaking one language, and they try to make a name for themselves by building a city and a tower to reach the heavens. God observes their pride and scatters them, confusing their languages, and names their city “Babel” which means “confusion.” God humbles the proud.
