Jesus commands His disciples to not engage in hypocritical criticism - that is, being judgmental of others in a way that ignores one’s own faults. How absurd is that? Christ instructs those to first examine themselves before looking towards others, and tells people to not confront others foolishly. Jesus then gives teaching on prayer, that His disciples should know that God promises to answer prayer and gives what is good to those who ask.
