In our October meeting of Women of the Word, we began with a hymn (“Take Time to Be Holy”) and prayer. Then, we began our time of Scripture memorization [see handout with footnotes below] with Christ prohibiting His disciples from hypocritical criticism (Matthew 7:1-2). Next, we covered Christ’s illustration of the log vs. the speck (Matthew 7:3-5). And finally, we ended with Christ prohibiting His disciples from imprudent confrontation (Matthew 7:6). We closed with prayer.
